The pandemic has delayed several of our planned recording projects. Here’s what will be released when they are complete.
- Recording project with Senegalese artists Alioune Guisee and Noumoucounda Cissoko, recorded in Dakar, Senegal at Karantaba Records and in Lexington, KY at The Lexington Recording Company. You heard a taste of this music at several events around the Roots and Heritage Festival in Lexington in September 2019.
- Recording project with Cuban singer Xiomara Laugart and string players from Manhattan and beyond, arranged and conducted by Jonathan Ragonese, recorded in Lexington, KY at the Lexington Recording Company. This is the sumptuous music you heard at the Soul Of Cuba show at the Pam Miller Downtown Art Center in May 2019.
